Geothermal heat pumps are rated by their Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) and the coefficient of performance (COP) rating, which is much like miles per gallon (MPG) for a car: the higher the rating, the more energy-efficient the system
Sound Performance
Packaged geothermal heat pumps are an all-in-one system that do not require an outdoor unit and are fully insulated for very quiet operation. Our Infinity® split-system geothermal heat pump requires an indoor unit that will produce minimal sound. The split-system heat pump is installed outside your home and also features sound reducing technologies.
Utility Savings
Geothermal heat pumps can lower home cooling and heating operating costs compared to forced-air HVAC systems, with savings as high as 70 percent.
Reliability
Our packaged geothermal heat pumps are durable, and because they are located indoors, they can last for up to 20 years with little maintenance. Our split-system geothermal heat pump is also extremely durable and can last for up to 15 years with little maintenance.
